Olav, the founder and “old man” of 24SevenSocial is a man almost everyone that works, uses and knows 24SevenSocial have a relationship to. I’ve been member of the International Order of Odd Fellow for about 33 years, enjoys hunting reindeer and loves to cook a nice meal for good friends. Well, actually I’ve got a favourite brand that makes people social, Gammel Opland, the best Norwegian Aquavitae 🙂 How did you end up in 24SevenSocial? I founded the thing 🙂 First real job? Full time? After college I worked a year as a receptionist at a hotel in Kongsberg. Then I started at the Norwegian Infantry Officers School. What do you think will impact the industry the most in the coming years, and how should businesses relate to it? Mobile and the internet of things will change the way we interact in everyday life. Funniest customer story? back in the days when we distributed Sofware update by 5,25 inch floppy disks, the instruction said: Put the floppy in the drive, write a:install and press enter. One customer did not bother to read, called me for help and when I tried to explain what to do he wrote acoloninstall – it took a while before I figured out what he was doing….He had actually never heard of the sign : Favorite movie?
