4 Things To Do To Improve Your Facebook Ads

Are you struggling to come out of an eternal loop of creating, deploying and testing stuff that doesn’t convert? Facebook is a powerful platform – and advertisements on Facebook is something that should be taken seriously. So first of all – great that you have realised this. But what’s the point of advertising if you are not seeing any results? Don’t worry. We have put together a 4-step list you can follow to create more effective Facebook Ads.

Be clear

If you want your audience to click through your link and explore the content beyond your ad, ask them to do so! If your goal is to gather likes for the sake of increasing reach – simply ask for it! We have noticed that the amount of likes increases when people are encouraged to like something.

Use great imagery

There’s no secret that you should focus on using great images in your ads. Striking images helps you stand out and catches the attention of potential customers. We recently also wrote a blogpost about visual storytelling

24SevenSocial Ads enables you to keep track of your ad-objectives.

Keep a simple goal to be able to measure more effectively. If your goal is to attract people to a webshop and complete a purchase, this should be clear all the way in the process: through the ad copy, the visuals and the landing page. Our tip is that each post should have one overlying goal. Either branding (where your goal is to increase reach), engagement (where your goal is to engage people you reach by gaining likes, comments and shares) or conversion (where people completes a purchase, or signs up for a newsletter i.e.)

Test and learn

The most important thing you need to do, is to continuously test and measure every post. What content works the best? What triggers your audience to perform any given action? You can easily get an overview of how you are performing by taking a glance in ‘Insights’ on your Facebook page. For more accurate and detailed data, we advise you to use Ads Manager/Power Editor and look at each overlying goal opposed to the statistics. I.e comparing two conversion posts with a different copy text, you can compare how many people have clicked the link and how many actual conversions you have. The best copy should then easily reveal itself.
